Photography started out as a hobby for me.  At summer camp I was fascinated by the darkroom and I’ve found inspiration through my camera ever since.  In high school, my favorite class was photography and I picked my liberal arts college to further study it.  However, I ended up graduating with a degree in Accounting and Finance.  Funny how things happen like that, right? I went on to become a CPA and worked in the corporate world for 5 years before leaving the industry to go full time with my photography business. While working in accounting was not always the most thrilling job, it taught me the skills to successfully start and run my own business.

I live in Brooklyn with my husband, Logan, and our pup, Chili. One of the things I love the most about our neighborhood is how close we are to Brooklyn Bridge Park. The water and sweeping city views calm me and I try to get down there every day (even if just for a few minutes). I love a good brunch with friends and spending time outdoors in the warmer months. If you see me around the neighborhood I will most likely be in Levi’s, a white tee and clogs. I have an office at home but you can often find me in a local coffee shop working (and snacking on a big chocolate chip cookie). When I’m not busy shooting weddings I shoot lifestyle content and I try to travel as much as I can.  I have a passion for photographing the culture and its people in foreign places.  You can check out more of that work here. Living in Brooklyn I am constantly surrounded by inspiration, both big and small. I am lucky to call this crazy city my home and wouldn’t change it for the world.
