2017 Wedding Recap

Every year I find the task of putting this recap together a little daunting. There are so many photos to look through and so many genuine moments captured throughout the year.  How can I fit them all into one blog post? It’s quite impossible actually, but at the very least this is a small representation of what my year looked like in weddings.  And when it comes to the finished product that is this blog post I always feel a sense of gratitude. To think back to four years ago when I was working full time as an accountant to now – capturing weddings on the weekends and all sorts of creative lifestyle projects during the week. I feel incredibly lucky that I took the dive out of a comfy corporate job and that this is what I get to do as an actual job. Capturing people’s happiest moments. Moments they’ll show to their kids and then grandkids one day. While I will always be inspired by pretty scenery, it’s capturing people and their raw emotions that keep me in the wedding industry. And this blog post is all about that. So a huge thank you to my 2017 couples. You are all amazing and it was a true honor to capture each and every one of your wedding days. And to all the 2018 couples – I am so excited for what’s to come.
