Fort Tryon Park Engagement

I’m always amazed at how much this city has to offer. Fort Tryon Park is situated right above the George Washington Bridge and is home to the beautiful Cloisters. Julie and Pete are lucky enough to live just a few blocks away.  We took their photos just as the park was bursting with color. The flowers were in full bloom and the trees were as green as ever. The park is big and the photo locations are endless. It’s a beautiful escape from the busy city and I’m really hoping to go back soon.

We took their photos on one of those rainy/non rainy days. You know, like every day we’ve experienced this past month. It’s raining, then it’s not raining but it’s still in the forecast to rain. The worst! Luckily, the weather held up for our shoot and instead of rain we had that beautiful post rain light. Julie and Pete showed me around their neighborhood and we headed into the park ending up at the Cloisters. It was a carefree hour with these two and their love for one another really shined through. Julie and Pete are getting married next weekend and so I thought this would be a perfect way to kick off their celebration!
